How 4D works, what Big, Small and Box mean, and how to buy a number and check your ticket in the Winbox MY lobby.
What 4D is
4D is a number game. You pick a 4-digit number from 0000 to 9999 and buy it for a draw. At the draw, a set of winning numbers is chosen. If yours matches one, the prize depends on the prize group and your bet type.
4D has been played in Malaysia for a long time, and most players know it through the well-known draw brands such as Magnum 4D, Da Ma Cai and Sports Toto. On Winbox MY, 4D sits in its own section of the lobby. Which draws are listed there can change, so check the lobby before you buy.

4D bet types, explained
The common Malaysian 4D options. The lobby shows which ones it offers and the prize for each.
Big
Your number can win in more prize groups: the top three prizes, plus the special and consolation groups. More ways to win, but a smaller prize for each group than Small.
Small
Your number only wins if it matches one of the top three prizes. Fewer ways to win, but each of those pays more than it would on a Big bet.
Box
Covers every order of your digits, with a full stake on each. Four different digits give 24 numbers, so it costs 24 times as much. Repeated digits give fewer: 1123 has 12 orders, 1122 has 6 and 1112 has 4.
iBox
Covers the same orders as Box for one stake split across them, so it costs less and each win is smaller.
Roll
One digit is filled with every value from 0 to 9, so it covers ten numbers, each with its own stake.
Checking 4D results
This guide does not publish 4D results. After a draw, check the results inside the Winbox lobby, or in the draw operator’s own announcements.
Compare your ticket with every prize group, not just first prize, especially if you bought Big. Make sure you are looking at the right draw date and the right draw brand, as each one has its own results. Your ticket stays in your bet history if you need to check it again.
Be wary of “results” or number tips sent by strangers in chats. They are often bait for fake pages.
How to buy 4D on Winbox
The same order works on H5 and in the app.
Log in to Winbox
Open Winbox and log in with your own details. 4D bets come from your account balance.
Open 4D
In the lobby, tap 4D or the lotto section. Choose the draw you want to buy for.
Enter your number
Type a 4-digit number from 0000 to 9999. Pick Big or Small, add Box or another option if you want one, and enter your stake in RM.
Confirm and keep the record
Check the ticket, including the draw date and the cost, then confirm. Your ticket stays in your bet history, where you can check it after the draw.

4D is a lottery. Every 4-digit number has the same chance in every draw, whatever it means to you. Dreams, car plates, birthdays or numbers that have “not come out for a while” do not change that. Set a fixed amount per draw and keep to it.

Does a lucky number improve my chances?
No. Each number from 0000 to 9999 has the same chance in each draw. A number’s past results do not affect the next draw.

Yes. 4D is in the same Winbox lobby you open in your phone browser (H5) or in the app. Enter your number carefully, as a ticket is confirmed once you submit it.
